The world is a set of two: the
developed, and two, the emerging. Nations or people. The one in between has really made no choice yet. The current financial problem
has affected largely the developed nations and those emerging nations whose
economy is not largely dependant on the inflows from the developed nations.
The core reason for the crisis as I understand is the lack
of effort on the part of the leaders - within the Government and the business -
to manage or drive growth. The entire mechanism runs to make the multiplication of the monetary and capital wealth a faster process. As if prosperity laid on a linear
equation. To the contrary, reality is a complex matrix. The larger canvass is often compromised on as it indeed is a harder work.
We let the judgment, the sense and the vision peripheral when it comes to acting on a chaste plan. Can we postpone the use than succumb to a crisis? Not when the greed to act and succeed, to show and be applauded, to earn the brown now becomes a greater joy, and soon an obsession. Then the norms of decency and
responsibility or commitment fades and soon dies.
The world is inherently and naturally too strong and capable to collapse due to crises. Yet how long would we test the nerves and the power of the world.
If the smaller is focussed on growth and development. The more evolved ones engaged in setting benchmarks and the highest create opportunities for the larger world. That may require self spirit, conviction or drive. Yet that may be taught and educated through a formal mechanism. So that an individual, a society or a nation sees its real position, its resources as they exist and its roles as they truly are.
Is that a mere reflection? If we tweak the simpler learning out of the unreal missions, dreams, passions or engineered drives, we perhaps can see the matrix better and clear.
Why not work upon an idea that is constructively and uncompromisingly based on what 2100 should be. If we succeed generations would hold us in esteem. As it would be a process for successive following, who will exist to fail? Yet we could shift the paradigm of the world order in following that lies beyond the wealth of figures alone.
The conviction that the human and knowledge capital is of greater significance than the monetary capital is not unreal. We live that daily with our family and children. Why not bring that outdoors? In the public domain as a truth that exists so truly.

The world is not a contingent of nations playing game against one another as in the Olympian arena. The world is a network of nations working together to make lives better
for all.
If the people of the world and its leaders recognise that the world is not to be lived just yet but transferred
to a new generation in a better shape, I do not think we would ever find
ourselves in crises. There is enough for everyone in here so long we have the
courage to define what 'enough' is.

ReplyDeleteThe mistake is to think that the government is supposed to do it. Life doesn't have a remote. Get off your butt and change the channel.
